VESTOSINT^® fine powders

Coatings

Various particle sizes and particle-size distributions of VESTOSINT^® fine powders can be used individually or in mixtures. Our customers can take advantage of this for very precise fine-tuning of surface structure, with the polyamide powder being incorporated into the coating system via functional groups. This results in hard-wearing and highly elastic coatings on a wide variety of substrates. VESTOSINT^® fine powders serve, for example, as matting or texturing agents, bringing about the following improvements:

Composites

VESTOSINT^® fine powders are also excellently suited for producing thermoplastic composite materials with fibers of glass, carbon, aramid, or steel. Unlike thermosets, these materials can be remelted and remolded. They can be wrapped, pressed, laminated, or woven, and are used in the construction sector and the aviation, automotive, and offshore industries.
