The high wear resistance and low sliding friction of high-stress components such as safety belt holders is particularly important for safety in cars: The VESTOSINT^® coating covers the metal edge of the component, thus protecting the belt from cuts in emergencies.

Handrails and grips in buses and trains that are easy to clean by virtue of their polyamide coating can receive added protection against bacteria with a surface coat of VESTOSINT^® Protect.

Black VESTOSINT^® electrostatic powder

VESTOSINT^® 1258 black, which is applied electrostatically, makes it possible to realize relatively low coating-film thicknesses of up to 40 µm. The coatings are distinguished by excellent corrosion protection, and good resistance to oil, grease and chemicals. In particular, the outstanding mechanical properties of VESTOSINT^® 1258 black, such as abrasion resistance and flexibility, make it ideal for coating, for example, flexible drive shafts for sun roofs and shading systems in the automotive industry. The black powder can be applied with commercially available tribo and corona spray guns.
