Coating, composite or paint?

As a coating, VESTOSINT® powders protect the surface of metals, help create fiber composites, and when used as an additive, improve the properties of paints. By virtue of the good mechanical values and high chemical resistance of polyamide 12, the powders are used wherever high quality is required:

They are used to coat

wire products for household appliances, supermarkets and products in other fields of application,
parts for the automotive industry and
medical supplies,
pipelines and fittings for water mains,
industrial articles and small parts.

As an additive, VESTOSINT® fine powder is added to paints for

the coil-coating process,
packaging films, and
rubber surfaces, as well as
textured surfaces and
wood paints.

In the field of composites, polyamide 12 powder has been used for many years as a thermoplastic matrix in glass fiber fabrics.
