VESTOSINT^®—custom tailored for films, coatings, or composites

Its VESTOSINT^® polyamide 12 (PA 12) powders, prepared by a special physical process, are distinguished by an almost perfectly spherical particle shape, which makes them especially suitable for metal coating. They also serve for production of fiber composite materials, and are used as additives to improve the quality of coatings. Crucial to their application are their valuable properties, which correspond to those of PA 12:

• high toughness
• excellent resistance to greases, oils, fuels, hydraulic fluids, water, alkalis, and salt solutions as well as many solvents
• very good stress cracking resistance even in the presence of chemicals
• low sliding-friction coefficient and high abrasion resistance even in dry running conditions
• damping of noise and vibration
